ryan_3_11-10-2024_202534:Julie, we've talked about Adventures by Disney numerous times on this show, but I know we are constantly getting new listeners I want to talk about adventures by disney just for a second What are the things that make adventures by disney different and as we always say if you're thinking mickey mouse is going to go On this trip with you He is not this is Travel at a very high luxury level with the Disney level of service and Disney touches in storytelling. So you have adventure guides that masterfully storytell and have in depth knowledge and attention to detail. They are Disney trained. You have both folks that are directly from Disney and local guides. There is Authenticity with Adventures by Disney. You don't just see the sites, you become part of the story. There are local experts that guide you and talk about their experiences with living in the destination. You have hassle free travel. Transportation, transfers, baggage handling, they take care of it all. you never have to buy a bottle of water or a snack. They're always there for you You never see your bags once they're in or out of your hotel room Everything's taken care of you have vip experience and insider access you really get backstage passes not just to disney parks but any destination you're at for instance, i've told the story before when I was in Italy with adventures by Disney. I opened up the Vatican. My job that day was to actually open up the window shades in the map room. Nobody else was there. It was my job to unlock the door. You have magical moments. They plan moments throughout the trip to amaze you to provide you wonder and excitement about the location. And it's also fun for everyone. The itinerary is good for adults. It's good for children. There are family focused trips. There's adults only trips and even if you're in a mixed trip, they have things for the kids and things for the adults

j_1_11-10-2024_202534:So briefly, let's just talk about what's included in the trip and this can vary based on each itinerary I just want to give a brief overview of it the biggest thing is that you are really becoming part of the story and there's no price on that. There's no price tag on being a part of the story of your trip, like Ryan said, with opening the Vatican. he was a part of that day, right?
ryan_3_11-10-2024_202534:Well, yes, and it's even stuff like everybody that's on the trip is given a flash drive of all of the pictures. the guides are taking pictures all along the way. so you're not having to worry about what if I didn't get this? Can we get everybody from our family in this picture? At the end of the trip they actually do a photo montage of the trip and everybody's sitting around reliving the trip And then you realize there's also pictures that are of the party that night That you're sitting in and it's just You just feel like you're part of this experience with everybody in no other way than i've traveled before
j_1_11-10-2024_202534:so cool. you're going to be staying in some really amazing places. You could be in a castle to a glamping tent to a deluxe riverboat on a river cruise. know that your accommodations are going to be five star All of your transportation and transfers are going to be included. And that transportation is going to look different no matter where you're going, but just know it's always included. You don't have to worry about booking that separately. admission fees to any attractions or performances will be included. have VIP access to private and private events. So, for example, on one of the itineraries we're going to talk about later that goes to Disneyland, you can get into Walt Disney Imagineering and that's not something that anyone can do.

j_1_11-10-2024_202534:But because you're with Adventures by Disney, they really get private access to a lot of places. And that's not just places that are Disney owned. That's everywhere. it also includes most meals during your trip and you'll know going into your trip what meals are included and what meals are not included.
ryan_3_11-10-2024_202534:one of the things I'll say with this Julie, and again, I'm going off of my experience in Italy, but it is done on every trip even the meals aren't included They will talk to you and say what are you interested in tonight? And let's get reservations for that. if you want pizza or if you're wanting to go to a steakhouse, they'll say, well, you need to go down to this place and let's make a reservation for you. In fact, when I was in Italy on our last night, we were in Venice and took the train back to Rome. one of our adventure guides was on another train at the same time because we saw her at the train station she texted and said hey, I want to let you know you told me what hotel you guys were staying at so I contacted them And I made sure that your two rooms were side by side I also made you a dinner reservation for a place down the street that I think you'll really like No problem, if you don't want to do it, but I think it would be a great last meal in italy

ryan_3_11-10-2024_202534:yeah. So let's talk about some of these great trips. today we're going to focus on North America. I know that folks all over the world listen to All Things Travel, and we're humbled by that. But we're going to focus on these North American trips, and the first is up in Canada, and that is the Canadian Rockies trip. I just want to give a highlight of some of the things that you're going to do. you're going to do, A Glacier Skyway excursion. Step over the edge and onto a glass bottom platform to view the valley 918 feet below. See the Columbia Ice Field. head to the Continental Divide for a visit to the largest body of ice in North America that feeds eight glaciers. You're going to go to Moraine Lake, journey into the lake country and explore the calm waters of Moraine Lake, situated in a majestic mountain range. Canmore float trip where you're gliding past the idyllic town of Canmore. During a scenic trip on the serene waters of the Bow River, and you're also going to do a BAMF gondola visit, you're going to soar to new heights as you rise 7, 500 feet to the summit of Sulphur Mountain with a spectacular view. So in this trip, you're going to be staying in three different accommodations. The Fairmount, Palisade, the Fairmount Bam Springs and Fairmount Chateau Lake Louise, which I've actually sent people to before, and they absolutely love it. This trip starts and ends in Calgary And this is a, all ages trip. So anybody five and up can experience a strip and there's also adult exclusive options.
j_1_11-10-2024_202534:the next destination that is in North America that we are going to talk about is Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. This is an eight day trip. And the minimum age here is age five, which is the same for a lot of Adventures by Disney trips. going to go up to Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick, here's some great things that you're going to be able to do. You're going to go to the Anne of Green Gables Museum Experience be immersed in the beloved stories of author Lucy Mon Montgomery, and visit places that inspired those books. going to have a private Mi'kmaq storytelling and talking stick workshop. You're going to meet members of Mi'kmaq First Nations peoples to learn about their culture and make your own talking stick, which is the symbol of respect in that culture. You're going to have a lobster boat experience as you cruise the calm waters in the bay alongside lobstermen who will share their sustainable fishing practices and give tips on creating a lobster feast. You're going to go on a tall ship, silva sailing and explore Halifax's harbor. You're going to go to the sugar moon farm. With an experience some fresh tapped syrup as you enjoy one of Canada's most popular flavors straight from the tree. Plus learn all about their tree to table process. You'll also go to Hopewell Rocks Park and have a guided exploration as you discover the origins of the unique rock formations there. They're also known as flower pot rocks, and you can actually see the exposed ocean floor of the Bay of Fundy during low tide. the great thing about Adventures by Disney is they are going to make sure that you see all of these really special things. tell you more about each experience as you're doing it, and you're going to be interacting with those local guides. And that's something that was really highlighted. If you're on this trip, you've got a couple of really great hotels. You're staying at in Halifax, a couple of golf and beach resorts so that you could add things like that onto your trip. And right now, these departures are available through 2025. there's a couple adult exclusive ones here too.
ryan_3_11-10-2024_202534:Both of these Canadian trips sound so much fun. before we talk about, some of the trips in the United States, Julie, I want to talk about where in the world is all things travel. Our top city last week, as far as downloads was Sacramento, California, the capital of California. I looked at different places. We could meet our listener from Sacramento. And I was thinking about your kids, Julie, let me see what you think about this location. This is fairy tale town.

Let's talk about Adventures by Disney in the United States, Julie, and I'm going to start with Alaska. I'm sure there are some great things going on in Alaska when it comes to Adventures by Disney. This is an eight day trip and again they have trips for all ages five plus And they also have adult exclusive trips. You are going to go to the Nanana River Scenic Rafting. you're going to cruise through the scenic wilderness along the eastern boundary of Denali National Park. You're going to go to Girdwood Mining Town, explore the historic town founded as a supply camp for gold miners. You're going to visit a championship kennel. You're going to go to Happy Trail Kennels and see the sled dog team, and you're going to also spend time at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, where you're going to learn about conservation efforts and animal rehabilitation from local naturalists. So this is going to be in and out of Anchorage. You're going to be staying in Denali National Park. You're going to be staying in downtown Anchorage. You've got several different places. You're going to be Anchorage, Talkeetna, Denali, National Park, and Gerwood. This sounds like an outdoor lover's dream, Julie.

ryan_3_11-10-2024_202534:I've looked closely at this trip because I've wanted to go on this trip for a while.
j_1_11-10-2024_202534:I know, it looks amazing. It's one of my favorite ones. this is an eight day trip. with a minimum age of five and adult exclusive opportunities available. You're going to go to Sedona, Grand Canyon National Park, Monument Valley, Moab, and the Arches. And here is a couple of the highlights. So you're going to go to Grand Canyon National Park. You're actually going to stay in Grand Canyon National Park lodging and experience the wonders of the National Park straight from your doorstep. I've looked into this hotel before and this hotel is really hard to get into.

j_1_11-10-2024_202534:you're going to traverse the trails of the South Rim on a private tour of this awe inspiring natural wonder. You're gonna go onto the Colorado River for some whitewater river rafting as you cruise down the mighty Colorado River on an exciting rafting trip through miles of scenic splendor. you're gonna head to Monument Valley to discover the natural beauty of the mesas and secret niches pointed out by a Navajo guide You're going to do a diamondback gulch off road tour as you take to the open desert terrain and head off roading on an exhilarating tour. going to go to a Navajo cookout dinner and storytelling as you listen to tales of the Old West while dining on delicious fare, which is Navajo tacos,

j_1_11-10-2024_202534:Yes, and the last stop is going to be at Arches National Park as you walk amongst geological treasures on this hike to the iconic Delicate Arch. and just remember that like we talked about before, you Trips like these with Adventures by Disney is going to have you staying at some of the best resorts in that area. For this one specifically, Enchantment Resort and the Grand Canyon National Park Lodging are really hard to get into if you're not on a guided tour like this. So it's going to be a great experience for you.
ryan_3_11-10-2024_202534:Great. the next one I want to talk about is the Wyoming adventure. several summers ago, I actually had, a couple of adults go on the adult only, portion of this trip. So again, there's options for families and there's options for adults exclusive. This is a seven day trip and you're going to be in Jackson hole, Brooks lake, grand Teton national park, and Yellowstone national park. The trip goes in and out of Jackson hole, Wyoming. And you're going to go to the Grand Canyon of of Yellowstone Hike. So you're going to surround yourself with beautiful waterfalls, vibrant colors and Natural wonders. You're gonna go to Brooks Lodge where you spend an adventure filled day on horseback, fly fishing, canoeing, or shooting archery. And the cool thing about this, Julie, these folks went, for several afternoons and you could choose what you wanted to do. And the gentleman who was going was all about fly fishing. And so he spent both days just doing fly fishing and loved it. You do a lower loop excursion. So you head out to explore thermal features like Old Faithful, as well as the beauty of the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring. you're also going to visit Grand Teton National Park. So you're going to hit the road with a local expert for a tour of this beautiful national park and its sites. You're going to be staying in, Yellowstone National Park. You're going to be staying in, Brooksville. Lake Lodge and also the wart hotel. So this is a theme with outdoor lovers Trips here, but this last one Julie we talked about the beginning that adventure by Disney is not necessarily Disney Focused but this last one definitely is
j_1_11-10-2024_202534:Yeah, save the best for last. if you are a Disney fan this trip is probably already on your radar and you're already Budgeting to go this is the Disneyland and Southern California Adventures by Disney trip And if, you know, Disney history, a lot of these, highlight places that we're going to go to are going to ring a bell this is a 6 day trip with a minimum age of 6 and also adult exclusive options trip highlights include going to Disneyland Resort Disneyland Park and Disneyland California Adventure Park. You'll also get a backstage tour at some of those parks as well as a VIP viewing of the Night Time Spectacular. So, all For the specific 1, they have a I. P. area for a world of color. You'll also go to the Walt Disney Studios and archives reading room and tour the legendary studio. See iconic props in the reading room. You'll go to Disney Imagineering for a close up look at Walt Disney Imagineering. And like we mentioned earlier, that that place is not open to the public. So that's really special. You can go to the Academy Museum and tour the largest museum in the United States dedicated to movie making, arts, scientists, and artists that create them. you'll get to go to Walt Disney's Disneyland apartment and enjoy an exclusive visit to his private apartment that overlooks Main Street USA.

j_1_11-10-2024_202534:this is a really great combination of, spending some time in Hollywood and learning about movies and filmmaking in general, and then having the rest of your time be at the Grand Californian and super immersed in all things Disneyland.

j_1_11-10-2024_202534:Oh my gosh, there's so many. Arizona and Utah, for sure. Alaska, Disneyland, and Southern California.
