The launch of our brand new travel agency, wonder and Beyond Travel. We want you, our clients and our guests to be curious, be present, and be amazed. So today we are sharing a quick introduction to Wonder and Beyond Travel.

this and getting this started, and we are finally launched and our new agency, wonder and Beyond Travel is out there. and we're doing it. We're helping our clients. You know, I think both of us kind of have this Renewed, passion for it.

so this, the dates of this will be a little off of when this is coming out. But a couple weeks ago, we announced on the Facebook group and to our own folks, through our newsletters, through our social media that Julie and I have started our own travel agency, wonder and Beyond Travel, and we could not be more excited. it's just been really fun to start out. Julie says it's been months in the making and it has. She's excited that I'm no longer traveling'cause she's like, come back and get your work done because we need to get going with this. so yeah, we own an agency, Julie, and it is amazing.

I mentioned recently that I was doing a bridal show, so I was a vendor at, an event that was going on and it was so fun to be able to say, my name is Julie. I'm a travel advisor and I own Wonder and Beyond Travel.

So if you think about us as travel advisors, each of us started with our previous agency in 2018 when that agency began. we have seven years of experience doing all sorts of travel. we started with our love for Disney, but that obviously, um, grew into cruising and grew into vacations, to beaches, and resorts. that grew into Hawaii and Europe. Julie's focus has always been. Multi-gen trips, Disney branching out into cruising all inclusives Europe. Mine started with Disney and now it's shifting to more adult trips with river cruising and, safaris. and with my personal experience in Europe, helping people have those experiences we thought it was just the right time. we've learned so much from our previous agency owners and that experience there. We wanted to really branch out and do our own thing. So talk a little bit about the core value of Wonder and beyond Travel. Julie.

So. Let me back up for a second, and this will tie in for, it felt like a really long time. We were like, I don't know what our name's gonna be. And then it just kind of came to us one day. For Wonder and Beyond Travel, and we didn't even realize how well that fit into our why. And looking back, that's why it felt like the right name.

on our marketing, and we had a wonderful marketing professional that we worked with, and we worked on what our values were the way that she described it, we were like, wow, that literally is wonder and beyond

So. Really at the core of our agency is wanting to inspire our clients to new destinations, to look at travel as a way to grow learn transform themselves and their families and strengthen relationships within their families. taking that sense of wonder and going beyond that

I remember, hearing your stories on this podcast about going to the Polynesian with your grandparents, And that feeling. moving into your adulthood as a parent now, wanting to give your children that same feeling. And it's no surprise that, the Polynesian is part of that. as a college professor, taking students, On their first trip to Europe, some people, it was their first time on a plane. Some people, it was their first time in a big city. to see that change and that wonder and that excitement and even that uncomfortableness that leads to really appreciating where they are. you talk about transformation, it just is real in travel. Whether it's a stereotypical vacation or whether it's an adventure.

because even if you think about, somebody might think, well, we're just going to an all-inclusive. think about all the things that lead up to that. You've gotta get your passport, you've gotta figure out how to pack for your family maybe it's somebody's first time on a trip or the first time going through customs, there's still so many new experiences. And then while you're at the all-inclusive, you're still in a new country, experiencing a new culture maybe new foods, maybe there's some new water sports that you didn't get a chance to try before. Maybe you try kayaking and that's like. Oh wow. Maybe I should try surfing. Maybe we should go to Hawaii next. the way that you travel can really spark new ways to travel for your next trips, and I think we both share that same level of passion and wanting to help our clients experience those things.

I love that. So let's talk about some of our core services. What are the things that we're gonna wanna be doing, for our clients and with our clients? And some of these are gonna be the things that we do now, it's just gonna be more of. Our way of kind of sprinkling the pixie dust in how we do it. The first is creating custom travel itineraries, so personalized travel itineraries that are tailored to the one of a kind trip that you want to take. what's important to you and your travel party, whether you're planning a magical family vacation, a romantic getaway, or a multi-generational trip. we work with you to design every detail to fit your vision. Your needs, your goals, and for most people, the most important thing, it fits that budget they have for that trip so that they can really be stress free and enjoy themselves.

This is one of the biggest things that I talk to new clients about when they say, what's it like working with a travel advisor? One of the first things I always say is, I'm going to create a custom trip just for you about what you want to do and where you wanna go and where you don't, if you don't wanna go somewhere, we're not doing that.

this is like one of the biggest perks of working with an advisor.

the next one is hands off booking management. taking care of everything from travel, logistics, accommodations, exclusive tours, dining reservations, and really trying to help you plan a seamless travel experience. I'm thinking about several clients, that are going to Europe this summer, and trying to piece together that trip so that they know what's going on Every moment of that trip listening to what are those things that are really important? is it having that cruise down the Thames? Is it finding a tea experience with their girls and finding that for them so that they're not looking for it, we're taking care of it and presenting it to them?

Right. You're doing all this back office type work of pooling all these different tours into their itinerary, and at the end of the day, they are getting one complete itinerary

I think this third one is really where Julie and I are going to work hard to develop the personality of our agency and really work to shine And this is concierge level support, so really helping our guests every step of the way, providing them with support during their travel process on the ground, during their trip, using our experience both as travel advisors and seasoned travelers, what are the things that they need to be knowing to make sure that every part of the trip is handled with care?

Yeah, and I feel like this can sometimes be overlooked. Like, travel advisors, just click a button and book my trip. But. helping my clients plan a Disney trip with little kids is pretty invaluable. When I can tell you what you need to put in your Amazon order and where you're gonna go first you know, just all these little tips that add up to make your trip feel a little more

And lastly, having that destination expertise, with extensive knowledge of the different destinations. Anything from Disney's most magical spots to Europe's most romantic locales. We really try to give you the insider knowledge and the expert tips. to be honest, there's places that I don't book because I don't know enough about it and I don't want to do that on my client's dime. and their time. I really wanna focus on the things that I know that I can add value to my client's. trip experience.

Absolutely. and there's a couple other things too, right? these are all the things specifically focusing on our clients. when you work with us as a travel advisor. Everything Ryan talked about is what you're gonna get from us, but we also have other ways to reach guests and clients and help people out, even if you're not booking your trip Our podcast will stay the same. We will continue to provide fun stuff about destinations travel tips and all sorts of good things we also have our social media pages. Ryan has his social media, I have mine, and we also have the Wonder and Beyond Travel, Instagram and Facebook. So make sure you head over there and follow along with us. We'll also be working towards a YouTube channel over the next couple months. Ryan has some river cruise videos. those are in the works the goal of those is to educate you.

and inspire. That's a great word. We are going to be updating our blog. So I've had a blog for a couple years on my website, but I'm going to work on making those a little more concise, So I'm gonna be adding onto those and then Ryan's gonna be adding some blogs as well. Eventually that will come onto our website. And the last thing that is coming soon is some digital guides and planners for our clients, and even for guests who are not our clients. So maybe you love planning your own Disney trips and maybe you love planning your own cruises or things like that. we still may have. Some resources that you could use, you know, from our expertise.
